A member of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc., Greater Deliverance is a place in which the word of God is preached, ordinances are administered, and the doctrine of sanctification or holiness is emphasized, as being essential to the salvation of mankind.
To utilize the Word of God and every tool possible for the purpose of instruction and guidance, thus developing every member to be positive, productive leaders in the church and community. Jesus said in St. John 14:12, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do she he do also: and GREATER WORKS than these shall ye do; because I go unto my Father.”
It is our mission to equip members of the church so they can be effective witnesses. And to ensure no member is left behind. To be a church sensitive to the needs of all mankind, regardless of race, nationality, creed or color.
It is the vision of Greater Deliverance to be a place where the hurting, depressed, frustrated and confused can find love, acceptance, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
It is the vision to birth two satellite churches. It is the vision to build a Family Life and Resource Center designed to minister to the total person – spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. It is the vision to purchase approximately 50 acres to develop affordable housing, consisting of 50 to 70 single family homes.
It is the vision to become a fully staffed ministry, working daily to aid and assist the needs of the church and community at large.
